Special Fool-a-Fish UVA reflecting formula designed for Artificial Flies

Fly fishermen face the challenge of presenting a naturally appearing wet or dry fly to a wary fish. Fish visually judge the presented artificial fly's appearance against that of their usual insect prey.

Human color vision uses three different wavelengths of light. Fish color vision uses four different wavelengths.

The artificial fly, coated with Special Fool-a-Fish™ UVA Reflecting Formula, will appear iridescent and glittering to a feeding fish, more attractive than the UVA normally reflecting off a prime insect.

Special Fool-a-Fish UVA Reflecting Formula is particularly effective when the sun is above the horizon.

Trout are attracted and excited by the "dazzle" added to artificial flies by Special Fool-a-Fish™ UVA Reflecting Formula.

Special Fool-a-Fish™ UVA Reflecting Formula makes artificial flies more durable with better flotation. Fool-a-Fish™ UVA Reflecting Formula will not damage sensitive hackles, feathers or other fly tying materials. It will not cause stickiness or discoloration.

Nice rainbow trout caught on an artificial fly coated with Fool-a-Fish Fly Formula.

"I was fly fishing for rainbows on the Peshtigo River in northern Wisconsin. I could see rainbows taking yellow jackets and ants off the surface of the water but I couldn't get them to take my flies even though I had perfect color and size imitations. After I sprayed my flies with Fool-a-Fish UVA-reflecting formula I got a hit every other cast. I caught five rainbows up to three pounds in the next couple hours and released a half-dozen small ones. Fool-a-Fish UVA-reflecting Formula is great for fly fishing if you like action and You Can Take That One to the Bank."

"Two friends and myself were down vacationing from Canada last July. We fly fished Idaho's St. Joe River for large cutthroats and rainbows. Even though it was a Catch and Release section of the river we didn't do much good until we sprayed our dry flies with Fool-a-Fish UVA-reflecting Formula.
